Stock Photography
Stock photos are a generalized category of images such as still life photography. Usually these types of photos are more for practical uses rather than artistic needs. Example would be a picture of an old boat that could very well serve its purpose for a marine website or a blog about boats. These types of images usually have minimal editing without added special effects, manipulations and graphic filters. Photographs of everyday objects and activities would fall in the stock photo department.
